Substance Misuse Worker

Description:

We are currently looking for a social worker or newly qualified social worker to join a substance misuse team, this is a permanent position and would be working for a charity based in Doncaster Royal Infirmary.

Objectives

To engage people with substance misuse problems to enter treatment services.

To provide advice, assessment and brief interventions along with some structured key working and
make onward referrals to specialist services.

Requirements for the role

Professional qualification or Degree in a related subject e.g. Social Work, Psychology, Counselling.

Substance misuse or hospital experience experience.

Be Social Work England registered.
