Job Title: Substance Misuse Nurse
Location: London
Rate: 36k - 47k dependent on experience, pro rata for part time hours.
Permanent position

Job responsibilities

• Assessments of physical and mental health
• Develop partnerships and alliances with people who have problems with substance misuse.
• Providing screening and education on BBV (blood borne viruses) and Hepatitis B injections when necessary
• Training service users and staff on Naloxone, making sure Naloxone is distributed to service users at all times

Requirements

• BA in Nursing and Active NMC Pin
• Experience of working within substance misuse
• Empathetic, non-judgemental and professional attitude to all stakeholders and service users
