Job Title: Drug and Alcohol Recovery Worker Salary: NJC 20-26 (£19,819 to £23,866) Pro Rata. Our team in Midsomer Norton are recruiting for a Drug and Alcohol Recovery worker to support their current team. This role will be to deliver the full range of recovery interventions for individuals accessing the drug and alcohol hub at Midsomer Norton. The ideal candidate should have sound knowledge of risk assessment and harm reduction principles and have a commitment to client recovery, solution focussed and strengths based approaches to supporting clients. Some Key duties you will expect to carry out Undertake triages and recovery orientated assessments, which develop Recovery capital and robustly manage risk and safeguarding issues Deliver needle exchange sessions, at which needle exchange equipment is provided, used equipment is collected and harm reduction information is provided Deliver one to one sessions with individuals\' using evidence based techniques such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Motivational Interviewing and using delivery tools, particularly ITEP/BTEI A full Job Description and Person Specification is available on our website.
