DAAT Commissioning Officer – Westminster
 

We currently have a vacancy for a DAAT Commissioning Officer in Westminster. This is a contract position with an immediate start. The pay rate for this role is £105 per day.

 

Duties Include
 

- Developing, advising and ensuring the implementation of local drug strategy and policy with the National Drugs Strategy.

- To provide expert advice and information in relation to substance misuse issues to the DAT, local partners and members of the public.

- Liaising with commissioners of drug and alcohol services to ensure their priorities reflect those of the DAT.

- Monitoring the effectiveness of DAT funding.

 

- Advising DAT and partner agencies of emerging research and good practice in the field.

 

- To work closely with the Police to monitor the effectiveness of Arrest Referral others partnership initiatives.

 

All applicants must have at least 5 years experience within a Substance Misuse setting. An in-date CRB will also be required for this role.
